Apparently many do not know all of Kevin Marti’s offerings. He has expanded data available to all 1967-2012 blue oval products. All of this is invaluable for restoration, as well as a bonus on the show field, not to mention when it comes time to sell (or to check out when buying)….proving the car is what you say it is. Original Ford Invoices: They are available for $45-60 You must include proof of ownership. A photocopy of the title and/or registration will do fine. There is only one original per car left, and they will help greatly with a restoration. The invoice will show everything about your car, as built (except rear ratio), including when built, options, where and when shipped new. As always, the Registry is interested in photocopies of these to add to the file. Invoices available for all '70/'71 Cyclones and Torinos (this includes Montegos and Cobras) built in Lorain, Code "H." Other invoices of interest: '69 Mustang and Cougar with an "F" code; '68-'70 Shelbys; '70-'73 Stangs and Cougars "F;" '76-'78 Stangs "F;" '72-'73 Maverick/Comets "F;" '62-'66 and '69 T-Birds; '69-'75 Lincolns and Marks. Marti Auto Works has the complete production database for all Ford-Lincoln-Mercury cars and trucks built for model years 1967 to 2012. They have reports available on any serial numbers at various levels of information, depending on your needs. This is a computer-processed form with no inaccuracies. Three different reports are available: via email or postal service Basic report includes both the scheduled and actual production dates for your car, the original dealer number for the car, DSO and options. A Deluxe report includes everything in the Basic report and additional items, such as when the order was received for the car, when it was shipped to the dealer, the original Vehicle Order Image code, detailed option information, and statistical information about your car. How many of that color, how many with the color and interior, how many with that engine/trans, to that DSO, & one particular option.
The Elite report includes everything in the Deluxe report along with personalized statistical information on your car, compared with similar cars. Additionally, it contains a reproduction of the door data plate and the window sticker. The report, statistics, data plate and window sticker are framed for display. They are licensed by Ford Motor Company to sell this information under Contract Number 5012, and they take their contracts with Ford very seriously. They promise to give you prompt, courteous, accurate service, and can even fax a report to you within the hour, under some conditions, if you have a vehicle you are considering purchasing. This feature is only available for the Basic report and an additional $20, but you will have peace of mind. ALSO AVAILABLE: research for you on a particular subject, such as "How many cars built with 429CJ engines and four-speed transmissions came with air conditioning?" or "How many Torino Cobras were built in 1970 at each assembly plant?" This service is available on a quoted-price basis. You would need to contact them in writing or online with your specific request and receive a quote on the cost for supplying the desired information.
